Toronto has the largest traditional streetcar system in North America, operating in the classic style on street tracks stopping on demand at frequent stops like buses, rather than having fixed stations.
That's why the Summer Music Conference salutes these vehicles and is hosting a musical extravangza for top DJs , music professionals and SMC - VIP ticket holders to get acquainted. There will be a beefy sound system on board with resident SMC DJs will drop the needle and turn up the bass for an “up for it” crowd.
In a world where nothing is certain, it's amazing that a transportation system so old is now a possible answer to lowering carbon emissions in street travel.
