SMC INDUSTRY BANQUET

Making a choice to eat food grown locally can really make a difference for the environment, for your health and in most cases the food is fresher and tastes better too.

Think about it - food in the supermarkets has been in transit or cold-stored for days sometimes even weeks but produce from your local farmer's has often been picked within 24 hours of your purchase giving you a higher nutritional value. This food has also had longer to ripen and will have been handled a lot less.  So, it is only fitting that the SMC V.I.P industry banquet only features locally grown foods allowing you to taste peaches so ripe that they fall apart as you eat them, figs so ripe they caramelize in your mouth, vegetables which burst with flavour and wines made from grapes that were allowed to fully ripen on the vine until the last possible minute.

The SMC V.I.P BANQUET is Black-tie event and is an important place to network within the Summer Music Conference.
