| SUBMITTING YOUR DEMO All songs must be original works to which you own the copyright. Remixes must be officially sanctioned by the relevant publishing authority. Submit your track along with full info, plus a recent photo and your contact details. Time is limited and slots are filled in the order the material is received. Once the deadline has passed, we will finalise the playlist and you will be sent the approximate time and order of your audition.
| STANDBY SLOTS If you missed the deadline because you were still putting the finishing touches to your masterpiece, all is not necessarily lost. To allow that piece of audio magic just waiting to be discovered at SMC to come to light, we will be allocating highly limited standby slots for each workshop. You must register your track at the workshop room half an hour before the scheduled start time, then once all of the pre-arranged tracks have been heard, artists will be called from the standby list on a strictly first come, first served basis. Please remember this in no way guarantees a hearing, it is simply a chance that could exist as time allows – the panellists will decide how much of each track will be heard which means there is no fixed time schedule.
